       Alpaca Socks for Kids

Kids get cold feet too, not just grown-ups!  Alpaca socks are just the thing for cozy feet whatever your age.  And these socks have the added fun of an alpaca design on them.  Made in the U.S. from North American alpaca fiber, the socks are composed of  80% alpaca, 18% nylon, and 2% elastic.  Priced reasonably at $17 a pair.  You might also want to treat yourself to a matching adult-size pair, priced at just $25 a pair.

                                                                              Reversible Alpaca Socks

Examples from our assortment of reversible 100% alpaca knit socks are pictured at the right.  A really luxurious experience, these socks are a must-have for all those outdoor activities in the cooler months. The sophisticated Hilton cardigan at the left, made of 100% baby alpaca, makes a dramatic statement with the intricate black floral vine patterning that extends throughout the natural camel tone background. At the right is the very popular "Sunny" Cardigan, a blend of 50% alpaca and 50% acrylic styled in rich amber and burnt orange tones with a striking floral design extending to the back as well as the front panels of the cardigan. A zip closure makes for a smooth, tailored look.  $120.

                  Alpaca Ponies

The furry alpaca ponies at the left are just one example from our array of stuffed alpaca animals, ready to be "adopted" into a loving home!   These little guys are priced at just $45 each.

The "natty" fellow at the right is a large teddy bear approximately 18 inches in size and is made from 100% baby alpaca.  You can take him home for only $50.

         Copper Alpaca Ski Bands

For those milder winter days, our "copper" alpaca ski bands are a wonderful choice. Made of 3% copper in addition to 42% alpaca, 40% cotton, 14% nylon, and 1% lycra, these bands will keep your ears nicely warm with their terry pile, and the heat reflecting copper fibers further enhance the warm luxurious softness of the alpaca (no dyes or bleaches used). Priced at just $20 each, available in the 4 colors shown (oat, granite, hickory, and silver).

                                                                               Serenity Seat Mats

Shown at the right are examples from our assortment of alpaca seat mats, 17" x 13", all made from the alpacas of Blue Mesa Alpacas.  A really luxurious experience.  These mats are very sturdy but oh SO comfortable.  They are great for long car trips, plane travel, outdoor activities, sports events, or just relaxing at home.  At only $25, a super gift idea!

The duvet at the left (queen size, light weight) is made from 100% Certified Sorted alpaca fiber. The fill is 75% North American alpaca fiber & 25% U.S.-grown sheep's wool.  The sheep's wool is added to provide loft & structure for the batting, in order to create a long-lasting product. The duvet cover is 100% U.S. grown organic Pima cotton.  Great for promoting a good night's sleep, as the natural alpaca fiber helps to maintain a comfortably warm & even body temperature. The queen-size duvet measures 90 x 90 in.  Price:  $345. And for a special luxury splurge, the alpaca pillow cases pictured on the bed are available at a price of $59 each.

                  Surino Yarns

At the left - lustrous Surino yarns made of 70% North American suri alpaca fiber and 30% fine merino wool. Suri alpacas are a rare breed especially prized for the high luster and silky feel of their fiber. Check out these yarns for yourself and see what we mean! The yarns are available in 2 oz. sport weight skeins (about 200 yds.), $24 a skein. These yarns come in a variety of gorgeous colors. Shown are Baltic (blue), Sage Green, Natural, and Gray.               Bulky Alpaca Yarns

These marvelous bulky alpaca yarn skeins (3.5 oz., about 120 yds.) are made from 100% North American alpaca, and are available in 6 natural colors:  Cream, Fawn, Rose Grey, Grey, Brown, and Black.  So soft to the touch, and just perfect for that special knitting project.  Stock up now while the selection is at its best!  Only $14 a skein.

Certified-Sorted Yarn Specials:

We recently received a shipment of marvelous Certified-Sorted luxury yarns in beautiful natural colors of cream, fawn, & rose grey.  Stop by and check them out for yourself—they won’t last long!

The 3-ply semi-worsted yarns at the right are examples from this shipment. The white and fawn colors are blends of 84% Huacaya alpaca, 6% Suri alpaca, and 4% Angora, while the rose grey is a blend of 84% Huacaya, 4% Suri, and 12% Merino. The 4 oz. skeins contain about 250 yards per skein.  Price: $26.

It is important to note that these yarns are 100% Certified Sorted as Super Fine Luxury Grade 2 (with fiber diameter in the range of 20-22.9 microns).  The trademark "Certified Sorted" means that the fiber has been sorted by rigorously trained and credentialed professionals so as to be extremely consistent in fiber size (diameter) and color.   The result is yarns and finished products from those yarns that can be relied upon to be of the highest possible quality, long-wearing, super soft, and without any of the undesirable coarse fibers common in commercially produced yarns that can cause skin itching and irritation.
